The Tales Story Two Pasak: The Next Chapter in Sansiri’s Phuket Villa Collection

The Tales Story Two Pasak: The Next Chapter in Sansiri’s Phuket Villa Collection

The Tales Story Two Pasak is the second luxury pool villa project in Sansiri’s The Tales collection, set in Pasak in greater Bang Tao on Phuket’s west coast. Sansiri confirmed it in July 2026 as one of seven Phuket launches planned for the second half of the year. It follows The Tales Story One Bangjo, the developer’s first pool villa project on the island.

Sansiri will release the full plans for The Tales Story Two Pasak as the launch approaches. This feature covers what the collection stands for, what Sansiri has confirmed so far, and what life looks like for an international family in Pasak and the wider Bang Tao area.

What The Tales Collection Stands For

The Tales is Sansiri’s first luxury pool villa brand in Phuket. The developer announced it in August 2024 as a collection of two projects in greater Bang Tao, and The Tales Story Two Pasak is the second of them.

Design sits at the centre of the collection. Sansiri appointed the team of Edward Tuttle, the American designer known for some of Asia’s most admired resort hotels. On Story One the team created a modern Thai resort language, with single storey homes, private pools, pavilions and warm timber, inspired by waves on pale shores. Sansiri presents Story Two as the next chapter of the same story.

The Tales homes are designed for family life. On Story One every villa has three bedrooms and four bathrooms, a full kitchen, a pantry, a pavilion beside a private pool and parking for two cars. Living spaces open onto the garden, so children can move between the house and the water while parents keep an eye on them from the kitchen.

Services Built for Owners Who Travel

Owners of The Tales receive villa management and owner services through Plus Property, Sansiri’s property services arm. Sansiri introduced this villa management offer for the first time in Phuket with The Tales.

For international families, that matters. Many spend the long summer holidays back in Europe or Asia, or travel often for work. A developer team on the island that looks after the house, the pool and the garden makes it easy to lock the gate and leave with peace of mind.

Wellness Built Into Ownership

In mid 2026 Sansiri partnered with VitalLife Scientific Wellness Center, part of Bumrungrad International Hospital, one of the best known private hospital groups in Asia. The Tales Story Two Pasak is one of four Phuket projects whose buyers receive preventive health privileges under the partnership. The programme includes biological age analysis and consultations with specialists in longevity medicine.

For families planning a long stay, healthcare is often the deciding factor. Bumrungrad is investing THB 4.3 billion (about USD 129 million) in a 150 bed hospital in the north of Phuket, near the airport. Bangkok Hospital Phuket is also within reach of greater Bang Tao. Together they give residents world class private healthcare on the island.

Living in Pasak

Pasak is a residential part of greater Bang Tao. Greater Bang Tao is the name locals give to the whole district around Bang Tao Beach, taking in Cherngtalay, the Laguna Phuket resort area, Pasak and Bangjo. It is where many of the island’s long stay residents and relocating families choose to live.

The appeal is balance. Green hills rise inland and give the area its backdrop. The beach, the cafés and the schools are all a short drive away. Daily life feels settled and local, with the energy of the coast close at hand.

Laguna Phuket anchors the area. It began in 1984 on the site of a former tin mine and grew into one of Asia’s best known integrated resorts, with hotels, golf, lagoons and a long stretch of Bang Tao Beach. The Laguna Phuket Triathlon, first held in 1994, is Asia’s longest running triathlon and a fixture on the island’s calendar.

Schools Within Easy Reach

Families moving to Phuket tend to start with schools, and greater Bang Tao is well served.

HeadStart International School opened its Cherngtalay campus in August 2023 on 24 rai of land in the Bangjo area. It follows the British curriculum with Cambridge programmes and takes children from age 2 through to Year 9. The campus has a 50 metre swimming pool, a sports hall, dance studios and art and music rooms, and it has grown from one class per year to three since it opened.

Across the island, Phuket has 19 international schools with more than 5,000 foreign students from over 50 nationalities, according to Sansiri. Enrolment grew 51% over the three years to mid 2026. Two new British schools, NLCS Phuket and Glenalmond Phuket International School, were scheduled to open in August 2026, and UWC Thailand and British International School Phuket are also within reach.

Weekends and Evenings

Weekends in greater Bang Tao are spent outdoors. Blue Tree Phuket, in nearby Bangjo, is an open air lifestyle village with padel courts, a skate park, forest trails, fitness and Muay Thai studios, children’s adventure play areas, cafés and weekend markets and concerts.

Boat Avenue and Porto de Phuket are the social centre of Cherngtalay. Boat Avenue opened in 2012 as Thailand’s first container mall and still hosts a Friday evening market with street food, live music and local makers. Porto de Phuket sits alongside, with restaurants, cafés and boutiques.

Evenings belong to the beach. Bang Tao faces west across the Andaman Sea, so sunset is a daily event. Families walk the sand, children swim until the light goes, and dinner is often Thai food from a favourite local kitchen.

A Day in Greater Bang Tao

A school day starts early. The drive to class is short, and parents are back home with coffee by the pool before the heat builds. Mornings are for work, whether that is a video call to London or a quiet hour at a café in Cherngtalay.

Lunch is often Thai. A bowl of noodles at a roadside kitchen, a plate of grilled fish, a papaya salad made to order. Afternoons bring the school pick up and an hour at the playground or the padel court.

By late afternoon the light softens over the hills and families drift towards the coast. Children swim, parents catch up with friends, and the sun drops into the Andaman Sea. On Fridays the evening ends at the market on Boat Avenue. On Sundays it might be a long lunch at Laguna.

It is a rhythm that new arrivals settle into quickly, and it soon feels like home.

Sansiri on the Island

Sansiri is one of Thailand’s longest established residential developers and is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand. It arrived in Phuket in 2011 and has delivered about 11,000 homes on the island since, according to its July 2026 announcement.

Its home in greater Bang Tao is The Society in Cherngtalay, designed by the Edward Tuttle team. The Society brings together a café, a Spanish restaurant and the developer’s sales gallery, and it hosts events through the year. It is the best place to see The Tales design language in person before plans for Story Two are released.

Making the Move

Many families now relocate on Thailand’s Long Term Resident visa. It runs for ten years and allows a spouse and children under 20 to be included. The Wealthy Global Citizen route asks for USD 1 million in global assets, or a lower asset level combined with USD 500,000 invested in Thailand. Rules change, so check the current terms with Thailand’s Board of Investment before applying.

Phuket International Airport is around half an hour’s drive from greater Bang Tao. It handled an average of 290 flights a day to 71 cities in 36 countries in 2026, according to Sansiri, which keeps trips home and visits from family simple.

Who The Tales Story Two Suits

Sansiri is aiming The Tales at international buyers seeking a second home or a long term residence in Phuket. The collection suits families who want a private pool villa with the backing of a large listed developer, together with management, security and after sales service already in place on the island.

Families comparing the two projects will want to see both. Read our feature on The Tales Story One Bangjo, and our guide to Sansiri in Phuket for the full pipeline.
