Personality of the Year 2026: who speaks for Thai real estate?
The votes are open, and this year they decide the winner.
Personality of the Year 2026 at the Thailand Real Estate Agent Awards has gone to a vote for the first time. Twenty two nominees. Five markets. Sixteen days of voting, from 23 September to 6pm Bangkok time on 8 October 2026, and a winner revealed live on stage that same night.
The award honours one individual. The person who has done the most to lead, teach and speak up for Thai real estate. This time, you help decide who that is.
How the award works
The Thailand Real Estate Agent Awards are young and growing fast. The first edition took place on 16 October 2025 at Park Hyatt Bangkok, organised by Dot Property Group with the Thai Real Estate Brokers Association. More than 300 guests filled the room, and Personality of the Year 2025 went to Janjira Kanjanakontong.
Year two brings the vote. The organisers are looking for leadership and professional integrity, a real contribution to Thailand’s real estate industry, respect among peers, a commitment to raising standards and a vision that moves the whole market forward.
The rules are simple. Each verified email address or mobile number can vote once a day, so you can come back daily until the deadline. The nominee with the most valid votes takes the title. Duplicate or suspicious votes can be removed, voter details stay confidential, and the organising committee confirms the final result.

Teachers, builders and storytellers
Read all 22 profiles back to back and one thing jumps out. These people teach.
Khaled Redvan has mentored around 50 professionals, and several now run their own firms. Punnaphat Sripatcharapat has shared her experience with more than 1,000 students and property professionals. Patima Jirathamrongchart has built an education platform followed by hundreds of thousands of people. Chawalit Kongsakpaibul teaches broker courses and serves on a subcommittee of the Thai Real Estate Brokers Association. Bastien Wissmanns trains Thai property professionals and overseas firms to look after international buyers.
Then there are the builders. Damien Mink is telling the Hua Hin story through cinematic video, drone and FPV filming. Elijah Ridgley is building his team around AI driven systems. Peer Johannsen built his firm’s CRM and marketing engine in house.
That is an industry on the move. And it is exactly what this award was created to celebrate.
Why this matters for buyers
For most international buyers, their property adviser is the first professional they meet in Thailand. Often it is the person they trust most, too.
When an award puts education, integrity and transparency centre stage, buyers win. It shines a light on the people raising the standard, and it makes those qualities easier to spot.
Whoever you work with, a few questions will tell you plenty. How long have they worked in the area you want? Will they show you resale alongside new developments? Who handles your legal due diligence, and does that lawyer work for you? A good property expert answers all three with ease.
