A May 2022 test event attracted over 1,000 runners from 14 countries and generated an estimated THB 140 million (≈ USD 3.8 million) for local communities, according to Nation Thailand. Designed for a spectrum of experience levels, Amazean features multiple distances. The flagship BETONG 100M covers approximately 100 kilometers of technical rainforest trails. The FLOWER 20K offers a 17-kilometer route with ~400 meters of elevation gain and a six-hour cutoff. Additional options include 92-kilometer, 54-kilometer, and 26-kilometer courses.
All races start at the Betong Mongkhonrit Tunnel and finish in Betong city center. Single-stage routes traverse steep, rooty paths and humid jungle near the Thai,Malaysia border, demanding precise pacing and resilience.
